Great changes happened at the fifth annual Direct to Consumer Wine Symposium, the national summit on direct wine marketing and sales:

1. Convenient San Francisco Venue: The 2012 summit took place at the prestigious Stanford Court Hotel in San Francisco's Nob Hill neighborhood because we have outgrown past conference venues The convenient location will attract more winery executives from the Central Coast and interior regions of California, as well as throughout the U.S.

2. Pre-Event Workshop and Social Mixer: We expanded the schedule to include an evening social mixer, as well as an additional Workshop, at the Stanford Court Hotel the evening before the event.
But some things did not change. Dynamic keynote speakers and panelists brought together more than 300 winery owners, senior managers, tasting room managers and staff, and marketing managers for a day of intensive dialogue.
