The Direct to Consumer Wine Symposium is the wine industry's premier summit on direct wine marketing and sales.

2014 dates announced! The 2014 event will take place January 22 & 23 at the South San Francisco Conference Center. More details, including ticket information, announced in June.

Past symposia have attracted a standing room only crowd of more than 400 attendees, a sold-out trade show, as well as guests and speakers from across the United States. This Symposium draws an ever larger group of vintners, winery associations and suppliers willing to share strategies and tactics that help wineries grow their businesses. The sixth annual event was held on January 23 and 24, 2013 in at the South San Francisco Convention Center.

Why Attend? This is the national wine industry’s only annual conference on direct marketing and sales -- a must-attend event for every level in the company, and the only summit organized by vintners, for vintners.

Why Return? The Steering Committee constantly reinvents the Program with thought-provoking keynote speeches, relevant workshops providing useful ideas, and legislative updates from across the country.

The symposium is presented by and a fundraiser for Free the Grapes! and Coalition for Free Trade. These two organizations have worked with industry representatives and winery associations to increase the market for winery-to-consumer shipping from 17 to 40 states since 1997.

About Coalition For Free Trade
Founded in 1997, the Coalition for Free Trade is a 501(c)3 non-profit legal foundation whose goal is to legalize direct-to-consumer shipments of wine from out-of-state wineries and retailers in those states where it is currently prohibited.
